Our promotion or production aims to reveal and strengthen the beauty of Islamic Sufi's culture so that it can begin to build understanding and trust in the whole world communities
BJS, a group of youg qawwals headed by Nadeem Masood Salamat, comprising six real brothers and four other members, has often been mentoned in the news during the last 30 years. Seven offspring of the late Ustad Bakhshi Salamat Qawwal, are practising their brand of qawwali not only in Pakistan , but also in the Europe, Middleast and foreast including Japan, where the late N.F.Ali Khan populrised Qawwali,a genre now known there as the melodic expression of Sufism. Usad Bakhshi Salamat Khan qawwal trained his seven sons including Javed salamat, Masood Salamat and Nadeem Salamat however these all brothers also benifited from melodic wisdom of ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan so, there is a very strong all about three generations link between the families of ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Bakhshi Salamat lineage

Before someone else gets baffled by a cacophony of 7 sur and 11 sur... Let me clarify - The beauty of this qawalli is that Its a difficult time signature. He is performing tihayis and arriving perfectly at sum (the first matra of the taal). Like I said for such a difficult taal cycle, performing a tihayi and arriving at sum with such ease is exceptional. That is what RFAK is appreciating. Not some 11 or 7 sur like the other gentle man is suggesting. I agree In a few places this qawalli uses shudh and komal swars but thats not what he is commending here...
I totaly have no knowledge of music, i am just a listener and i have a very rich taste in music, i listen very carefully, enjoy it and notice when something great happens. I agree with you, because when for the first time i listened to this, i didnt got what happened here and why Rfak is so excited about, but then i listened to it like 100 times and noticed, that it the starting and endig point where magic is. I noticed he is going very high and then drops it to where it started I guees.

Usually a singer completes 7 "sur" in one go but the singer completed 11 in one go which is execptional... And he did it twice to prove that first one was not accidental... If you see the Rahat expressions when singer compmeted 7 surs, Rahat jurk his neck means complete but he was astonished to see singer continues and completes 11.
